Set in the centre of a historic district of Salzburg, in a nice and safe residential area, this traditional aparthotel boasts excellent access to the area’s skiing areas and lakes. With a long history in the city, the hotel has been completely refurbished in 2007/08 to form a modern apartment hotel, with 14 fully-equipped holiday homes within a historic building. Close to the centre of Salzburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the hotel also enjoys direct access to the city’s public transport and features a car park for guests.

Besides the numerous sights and attractions of Salzburg itself, there are many possibilities for interesting excursions, from the beautiful lakes of the Salzkammergut to skiing in the many ski resorts south of the city.

Ante Portas was a fantastic place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The room was lovely and the staff were very helpful and efficient. The bus was easy to catch into the centre and very frequent.
We had a lovely view of the mountains.

Lovely room and nice hotel

Possibly the bus - though it was nice to be out of the centre.
A laundrette room would have made it perfect! (A room with a paying washing machine and dryer)
