From 1923 to 1938, Villa Trapp was the residence of the world-famous Von Trapp family, whose life in Salzburg entered history as “The Sound of Music”, the most popular musical of all times. The villa is maintained in the style of this period. You will stay in the family’s original rooms, including a luxurious, 70 m² suite. They are all very exclusively furnished and maintain the aura of the period in which the Von Trapp family lived there. From 1947 to 2008, Villa Trapp was not accessible to the public - but this has changed. Now you can live in the rooms where the Von Trapps used to live. You can sleep in the family’s rooms and walk on their paths through the villa and the park. This stately building enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Salzburg, surrounded by the city’s largest private park. If you arrive by public transport, you can get off at the Aigen local train station, which is directly next to the park and which was also used by the family.

Single Room (1+0)

The single room on the first floor was once a children's room and is decorated in the style of a saloon. It is a combined living room/bedroom with flat screen TV.

Baron's Suite (2+0)

The saloon of the suite used to be the study of Baron Georg Johannes von Trapp. This luxurious suite on the ground floor has a spacious bathroom and a big double bedroom with a sofa in the reading corner. There are 2 additional big sofas in the saloon, one of which can be turned into a double bed. There is also a flat screen TV. The windows face west, south and east, and offer beautiful views of the large park.
Deluxe Double/Twin Room (2+0)

The deluxe double/twin rooms are located on the first floor and used to be the rooms of the children. They are equipped with exclusive furniture, have a saloon interior and a bedroom/living room with reading corner and flat screen TV.
Double/Twin Room (2+0)

Most double/twin rooms are located in the attic. They have romantic dormer windows with park view.
Junior Suite (2+0)

Located on the top floor, the junior suite consists of a small living room with sofa, a bedroom and a bathroom. The dormer windows offer beautiful views of the park and the Untersberg mountain. It is ideally suited for up to 3 people.
Maria's Suite (2+0)

Maria’s Suite used to be the apartment of Baroness Maria Augusta von Trapp, when she came to the villa as a tutor. This luxurious suite consists of a big bathroom, a double bedroom and a settee in the reading corner, and a saloon with 2 big sofas, one of which can be turned into a double bed. There is also a flat screen TV. The windows face west, south and east, and offer beautiful views of the large park.
Wingside Suite (4+0)

This suite is located on the top floor of the west wing of Villa Trapp. It comrpises 2 double rooms (each with a bathroom) and a living room with a pull-out sofa. It is ideally suited for families and groups of up to 6 people. The romantic dormer windows offer views of the large, quiet park from all rooms.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 6 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is partially refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included.
Service charge is not applicable.
EUR 1.10 city/tourist tax per person per night is included.

Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
