Fra 1923 til 1938 var Villa Trapp boligen til den verdensberømte Von Trapp-familien, hvis liv i Salzburg ble foreviget som "Sound of Music", tidenes mest populære musikal. Villaen har blitt beholdt i stilen fra denne perioden. Du vil bo kunne i familiens opprinnelige rom, inkludert en luksuriøs 70 m² stor suite. Alle rommene er svært eksklusivt innredet, og holder ved like auraen fra perioden da Von Trapp-familien bodde der. Fra 1947 til 2008 var ikke Villa Trapp tilgjengelig for offentligheten, men dette har endret seg. Nå kan du bo i rommene hvor Von Trapp-familien pleide å bo. Du kan sove i familiens rom og gå i deres fotspor gjennom villaen og parken. Denne storslagne bygningen har rolig beliggenhet nær sentrum av Salzburg, omgitt av byens største private park. Dersom du ankommer med offentlig transport, kan du gå av på den lokale togstasjonen Aigen, som befinner seg ved siden av parken, og som også ble benyttet av familien.

The single room on the first floor was once a children's room and is decorated in the style of a saloon. It is a combined living room/bedroom with flat screen TV.

Baron's Suite (2+0)
 
The saloon of the suite used to be the study of Baron Georg Johannes von Trapp. This luxurious suite on the ground floor has a spacious bathroom and a big double bedroom with a sofa in the reading corner. There are 2 additional big sofas in the saloon, one of which can be turned into a double bed. There is also a flat screen TV. The windows face west, south and east, and offer beautiful views of the large park.
Deluxe Double/Twin Room (2+0)
 
The deluxe double/twin rooms are located on the first floor and used to be the rooms of the children. They are equipped with exclusive furniture, have a saloon interior and a bedroom/living room with reading corner and flat screen TV.

Most double/twin rooms are located in the attic. They have romantic dormer windows with park view.
Junior Suite (2+0)
 
Located on the top floor, the junior suite consists of a small living room with sofa, a bedroom and a bathroom. The dormer windows offer beautiful views of the park and the Untersberg mountain. It is ideally suited for up to 3 people.
Maria's Suite (2+0)
 
Maria’s Suite used to be the apartment of Baroness Maria Augusta von Trapp, when she came to the villa as a tutor. This luxurious suite consists of a big bathroom, a double bedroom and a settee in the reading corner, and a saloon with 2 big sofas, one of which can be turned into a double bed. There is also a flat screen TV. The windows face west, south and east, and offer beautiful views of the large park.
Wingside Suite (4+0)
 
This suite is located on the top floor of the west wing of Villa Trapp. It comrpises 2 double rooms (each with a bathroom) and a living room with a pull-out sofa. It is ideally suited for families and groups of up to 6 people. The romantic dormer windows offer views of the large, quiet park from all rooms.
